Day 17, Sunday June 9th:
This day was a relaxation day from start to finish. We woke
up and traveled to Oxnard to visit Keith’s Aunt and Uncle’s beach house.
Lisa (Keith’s Aunt – Hungry Girl) was kind enough to prepare us lots of food in Grammy fashion. We started with chips and dips, immediately followed by delicious sandwiches, pizza, and desserts. Some of us took naps on the beach and played some Frisbee while taking pictures to try and show we did more athletic activity than we actually did.
We relaxed and talked with Keith’s family and their friends until about 8pm, when it was time to go and drive Adam to the airport. Many thanks to Dan and Lisa for showing us such a great time while we were in Los Angeles.
After a long and successful journey for Adam, he is on his way back to the real world taking a red-eye back to the East Coast. We wish him the best of luck as we continue our trek through the country.
