Day 24, Sunday June 16th:
After a later night than we originally had planned we
decided to sleep in this morning and take it easy. We went out into the world at 10am and did
some blogging and photo work at Philz Coffee.
After a lazy morning we went for a drive back across the Golden Gate
Bridge and into Muir Woods. In Muir
Woods we got to see the redwoods and went on the Oceanview trail hike.
Jeans was a poor choice for this day as the sky cleared and it became a very warm day out compared to the day before. We powered through and completed the hike before driving back to the Golden Gate Bridge. We found a viewpoint from the other side of the bridge from where we were before and had a great view with a clear sky.
Starving after a long afternoon we were inspired to find some authentic Australian food because of the people we had met the night before. We found ourselves at an Outback Steakhouse where we enjoyed a bloomin onion, salad, and mixed BBQ. After eating waaay too much we drove to the other side of San Francisco to check out the Bay Bridge lit up at night.
After an hour or so of Keith shooting long exposure photos, and teaching seemingly anyone who would listen how to do the same, we headed back to the hostel for some sleep before out long drive in the morning.
